By accessing and using Velo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. License and Usage

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Velo for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may download and install the app on your personal devices, upload and read books in supported formats, and sync your reading progress across devices.

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app; distribute books that violate copyright laws; use the Service for commercial purposes without permission; or attempt unauthorized access.

3. User Content

You are responsible for the books you upload and ensuring you have the legal right to read them. You must maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials. You may not upload content that violates copyright laws or infringes on third-party rights.

4. Account Management

To use Velo, you must create an account with a valid email address. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a retention period.

5. Intellectual Property

Velo, including its design, functionality, and code, is owned by us and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any original content you create (notes, highlights) within the app.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Velo is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted or error-free service, or compatibility with all devices.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data or reading progress, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or issues arising from unauthorized account access. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid in the past 12 months (or $100, whichever is less).

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes & Contact
